This is a step by step guide on how to send money from Equity bank to Mpesa.
Some years back, Equity bank launched the Eazzy 247 service which enables it's customers to access banking services from mobile phones. The Mbanking services enable users to link their bank accounts to their mobiles (Sim card) therefore through the Eazzy 247 service, you can easily send cash from bank to Mpesa, Airtime Money, Yu cash and Orange Money. Not only will you send money from equity bank to mpesa, but you can also perform other services like balance enquire,deposit to bank and send cash to other banks.
Follow the following easy steps to send cash from equity bank to Mpesa and use other services too:
#) Register for Eazzy 247 at any Equity bank or agent. You should have your ID and you will be required to fill relevant Eazzy 247 registration form and submit to the Agent.
- Agent will key in details and you will recieve your PIN.
# From your phones dial pad, Dial *247# and Reply with your PIN. Ensure you have Airtime at least 10 bob in order to acquire the Eazzy 247 feature.
# If your phone is internet enabled, you can access Eazzy Online on your browser through https://m1.equitybank.co.ke/wap. Enter your customer ID and five digit PIN( given to you during registration) then you'll login.
#) You can also go to https://m.equitybank.co.ke to install Eazzy Download on your phone once. Open the app which is saved on your phone and load it onto the login page. Enter your customer ID and five digit PIN to login.
# After choosing one login option lets assume your phone is not Internet enabled so you dialed *247# and logged in with your PIN. Upon logging in, you will access a menu with various services like balance enquiry, transfer funds e.t.c. Choose the transfer funds option where you will get a menu to transfer money from your equity bank account to mpesa.
# Upon successful transfer of funds to mpesa, you will receive a confirmation message from equity and then an mpesa message confirming receipt of funds.
You can also access the following services with your Eazzy 247 :

* Mini Statement Inquiry
* Loan Status Inquiry
* Loan Account Balance
* Cheque Book Requests
* Stop Cheque/Card Request
* Exchange Rates and Stock Inquiries
* Full Statement Request
* Recieve of transactions on your Account
* Transfer to your own Account
* Transfer to someone's account or mobile number
* Cash Withdrawals
* Utility Bill Payment
* Airtime Topup
* Loan Application
* Temporary Overdrafts
* Transfer to other Banks
