How to bet at Sportpesa using your mobile phone

Sportpesa is Kenya's leading betting site. Betting is the easiest way to make money but it requires skills and luck. There are two ways of betting at Sportpesa. The first way involves logging at their website, selecting your teams and placing your bet. The second and easiest way of betting at Sportpesa involves using any type of phone that can send a message to bet. Betting using your mobile phone costs 2 bob per each sms sent.

Let's learn how to place a bet at Sportpesa using your mobile phone.

Step 1

Get the game ID of the teams you want to bet for. You can find the game id by visiting the Sportpesa website. Also if you are already a Sportpesa member, you will receive automatic texts daily showing games that will be played alongside their id's.

In the following example :

8491 CHELSEA-MAN UTD 1(1.92),X (3.36), 2(4.16)

>>8491 is the game id of Chelsea vs Man U.

Step 2

Sms the Game ID to 79079.

This is how your drafted sms should look like :

Game ID#Your Prediction#Amount

(1) Means Home win
(X) Means Draw
(2) Means Away win

Below is an example of a game:
8491 CHELSEA-MAN UTD 1(1.92),X (3.36), 2(4.16)

To bet for Chelsea win;
Sms 8491#1#100 to 79079 (100 is the bet amount)

To bet for Man U win:
Sms 8491#2#100 to 79079

To bet for draw:

Sms 8491#X#100 to 79079

Upon sending the bet sms, you will receive a confirmation message confirming the bet you placed and the possible amounts you can earn.

To cancel a bet:

Send the word "Cancel" followed by "#" and the bet id received in the bet confirmation message to 79079

For example:
Cancel#8491

How to bet for a multibet using your mobile phone :

In case of a multibet, Sms the Game ID#Your Prediction (repeat the same procedure using different games id's and predictions for the multibet) #Amount

For example :
1234#2#4534#1#7180#1#135
>>Where 1234 is the Game ID,2 is the prediction,4534 is the Game ID, 1 is the prediction, 7180 is the Game ID, 1 is the prediction and 135 is the bet amount.

To cancel a multibet :

Send the word “cancel” followed by “#” and the Bet ID received in the bet confirmation message to 79079

For example :
Cancel#1234#4534#7180

NB:
A bet will be qualified after the expiry of the first ten Minutes (10) within which a player may choose to cancel his/her bet. Once a bet is accepted, no cancellation is acceptable. Therefore make sure you cancel your bet before the expiry of ten minutes from the time you placed the bet.
