How To Remove Your Contact Number From TrueCaller

I came across an owe some trick which can enable you remove your
number from TrueCaller and I thought it will be good to share it with
Kenyans.

TrueCaller is a global mobile community, were it has a huge database
of contact details of contact numbers. The users can share their
contact list to the truecaller database to make the contact details
visible to anybody. In this case, if you are one of the contact in
your friend's contact list and he shared the details to truecaller
database, then your contact details will be visible to anyone
globally.

Many Kenyans have been caught red handedly while trying to anonymously
call or text other people without knowing that their mobile numbers
are in the TrueCaller database and it's simple for their identity to
be recognized.

Today I will show you simple methods of removing your contact /mobile
number from TrueCaller.

There are actually two methods of removing your contact number from TrueCaller :

Method 1:

In the mobile app itself you can see"Deactivate Account"option. You
can remove your number by simply clicking the deactivate button right
in your TrueCaller mobile app.

Method 2:

*Go to www.truecaller.com/unlist

*Enter the phone number you want to remove from TrueCaller alongside
your country code.
For example:
In case of a Kenyan mobile number,enter +2547*****01.

* Select the reason why you want to remove your contact number from
TrueCaller. (just select any reason)

*Enter the verification code shown, then hit "Unlist".
Now your number will be removed the database.

NB:. You cannot resubmit your number to the TrueCaller once it is
removed from the database.
